For the past couple of years, WWE has released numerous Superstars from their contracts under Vince McMahon’s leadership. Fans were simply astonished WWE ended up releasing so many talented stars during that time period in the name of “budget cuts.” This includes Ezra Judge, who seems to be on WWE’s radar again now that Triple H is in charge.

EJ Nduka was blindsided by his WWE release back in 2021. Triple H took over WWE Creative after Vince McMahon was forced to retire. Afterward, Triple H has managed to bring back quite a few previously released stars.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is interested in signing back EJ Nduka, who was known as Ezra Judge in NXT. The home belongs to Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell, who are Billie Eilish’s parents. AEW has interest in the former Ezra Judge as well.

EJ Nduka, who has gotten rave reviews from management here, has his contract coming due imminently and there is interest in him from multiple promotions including WWE having expressed some interest in bringing him back. Nduka, 34, is a 6-foot-5 high level bodybuilder and former college footballer who bounced around Canadian Football, Arena Football and some NFL camps until signing with WWE in 2018 and becoming Ezra Judge. He’s a guy who hasn’t worked a ton of indies, but has worked Mexico and been pushed in MLW where he currently holds the tag team titles with Calvin Tankman. WWE cut him in May 2021 which was when they were cutting guys probably in his case based on his not making television and already being older when the idea was they wanted younger guys in NXT. The name has come up in AEW as well as Japan
