The past 24 hours have been chaotic for WWE employees and fans. Yesterday, Vince McMahon sent out a press release saying that needs to be back in order to facilitate a sale of the company. Just a few hours after the press release was published, WWE confirmed that Vince McMahon is back on the board of directors.

Since this news broke, several talent were concerned regarding the creative direction of the company. Many Superstars didn’t want all the work that they had put in under the new regime to be wiped off. Bryan Alvarez noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the WWE talent were informed via letter that while Vince McMahon was back with the company, Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan would continue as co-CEO and Triple H will continue as Chief Creative Officer.

“Today, WWE formally announce that our founder Vince McMahon has rejoined the company’s board of directors. The management team will remain in place with Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan as the co-CEOs and Paul Levesque as the Chief Creative Officer,” an excerpt from the letter read.

Based on the letter, it looks like Triple H will continue as creative head of the company. However, knowing Vince McMahon, he could suddenly change his mind and take back the reins from Triple H. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we keep you updated on this story as it develops.
