Last week on SmackDown, following Ronda Rousey’s successful title defense against Raquel Rodriguez, and then Charlotte Flair shocked the world by making her return. Flair immediately challenged Rousey for a title match, which the latter agreed to.
Charlotte Flair was able to defeat Ronda Rousey comfortably to regain the SmackDown Women’s Championship. The win handed Flair her 14th Women’s title and was a perfect way to end the year for the Queen.
WWE had announced that Charlotte Flair will make an appearance on tonight’s episode of the blue brand. There was no mention of a match, so it looks like Flair will cut a promo in the ring.
Apart from Charlotte Flair’s segment, WWE also announced a tag title match for the show. It will also be interesting to see the fallout from last week’s main event where John Cena & Kevin Owens defeated Roman Reigns & Sami Zayn. Stay tuned to Ringside News for live coverage of SmackDown.
