AEW Star Confirms They Are Sidelined With Injury

The AEW roster has a lot of moving parts, and sometimes Tony Khan’s locker room breaks. Injuries are nothing new in pro wrestling, and sadly, we have another injury confirmed.

Matt Hardy let the cat out of the bag that Marq Queen is injured. Hardy tweeted out to simply say that a change was made to their match due to Marq Quen’s injury.

Since @Marq_Quen is gonna be out of action for a bit, myself & @IsiahKassidy are marching forward.

Tonight we team up on #AEWDarkElevation & plan on stealing the show. It’s a new year & I’m going into it with a new attitude.

The Private Party member replied to this tweet, and he confirmed that he is injured. Although the nature of the injury wasn’t disclosed, it doesn’t seem like he’s too worried about the time he will miss in the ring.

I’ll be back faster than a barefoot jackrabbit on a hot greasy griddle in the middle of August!!

We’ll have to see what’s next for Private Party. There was a time when the two were looked at as the future of AEW’s tag team division. Only time will tell what is in their future, but Marq Quen needs to focus on getting healthy enough for a return to in-ring action first.
