Impact Wrestling Books Ex-NXT Star’s Debut For Next Week

August Grey was among the NXT stars who were released from their contract in the summer of 2021. The 29-year-old reverted to his Anthony Greene ring name in the wake of his WWE release. He’s finally set to make his Impact Wrestling debut.

Impact Wrestling announced that Anthony Greene will be making his in-ring debut against Black Taurus on the first Impact of 2023 next Thursday. Greene introduced himself via a vignette that aired during on the latest edition of Impact.

As previously reported, Anthony Greene competed in several matches at an Impact Wrestling taping in Florida earlier this month. It remains to be seen if Greene will make a name for himself in Impact.

Also announced for the January 5, 2023 edition of Impact Wrestling:

• Chris Sabin vs. Matt Cardona
• Masha Slamovich vs. Taylor Wilde
• Jonathan Gresham vs. Jack Price
