Shawn Spears Says He’s Not Going Back To AEW Anytime Soon

Shawn Spears was known as Tye Dillinger in WWE and for the most part, fans viewed him as a severely underrated WWE Superstar. Dillinger had a lot of talent but the company simply didn’t know how to use him. In the end, he was released and made his way to AEW almost three years ago. Spears has been absent for a while now but made it clear that he will not be returning to AEW anytime soon.

As previously reported, Cassie Lee and Shawn Spears are expecting their first child together. Naturally, fans and pro wrestlers alike celebrated this fact and were very happy for the couple.

In fact, this is the reason why he has been absent from AEW television. Spears hasn’t been on AEW television since October 13th’s episode of Rampage, where he and FTR beat The Embassy.

One fan jumped on Twitter and commented to say, “Where has @ShawnSpears been? @AEW. Then Shawn Spears made it clear that he is not going back to AEW anytime soon.

Don’t hold your breath… Not going there anytime soon.

We will have to wait and see when Shawn Spears will return to AEW television, as fans are actually starting to miss him now. Till then, fans will just have to wait and hope for the best.
