Saraya is hailed as trailblazer for women’s pro wrestling, as she accomplished a lot in WWE during her time there. Saraya eventually made her way to AEW after WWE decided they didn’t want to renew her contract. Saraya has also faced a lot of hardship over the past few years, which fans continue to be inspired by. In fact, that’s exactly what Saraya wants to be for fans: a source of inspiration.

Saraya debuted in AEW a couple of months ago and took the pro wrestling world by storm. She went on to defeat Britt Baker at AEW Full Gear, which was her first match in over five years.

In the past few years, Saraya has gone through a lot of hardship and tribulations, especially due to her substance abuse issues and depression. While speaking on GAW TV, Saraya talked about how she turned her life around and hopes to inspire others around her.

“I’ve messed up. I’ve done some pretty crazy stuff, you know. I’ve turned my life around. Drugs, alcohol, being in an abusive relationship, doing these crazy things, breaking your neck twice. You don’t need to be perfect to inspire others. Let people get inspired by how you deal with your imperfections.”

Saraya is also set to face Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter on the January 11th episode of AEW Dynamite with mystery partner. Many believe that the partner will be none other than Sasha Banks, so we wonder whether Banks will end up being her partner.
