MJF has established himself as one of the most newsworthy pro wrestlers in the business, and he’s never afraid to sling shade. The Salt Of The Earth is currently on the run of his career, after becoming the AEW World Champion at Full Gear. MJF also doesn’t wrestle all the time, which many fans don’t really like. Be that as it may, MJF couldn’t care less what fans want.

The Devil became the AEW World Champion after defeating Jon Moxley for the title at AEW Full Gear last month. Ultimately, the win solidified his status as a true main event talent that people pay tickets to see every week.

While speaking with Sports Illustrated, the AEW World Champion addressed fans complaining that he does not wrestle every week. MJF made it clear that he doesn’t need to wrestle every week like Bryan Danielson and put his body at risk.

”Wrestling fans get upset with me for not wrestling more,” MJF said. “I hear, ‘MJF, you should wrestle more.’ F*ck you; you wrestle. It hurts. I’m not a f*cking mark loser like Bryan Danielson where I’m feigning [sic] to get in the ring every week because I’m a wrestling hipster nerd. You know what I care about?

Making the most amount of money I can in the shortest amount of time possible, and maintaining my mental and physical health. I’m not going to go out and kill my body for people who are fickle.”

MJF successfully retained his AEW World Championship on AEW Dynamite last week but was immediately chased by Bryan Danielson after the match. It is evident AEW will begin a proper feud with Danielson and MJF. Now it remains to be seen how their feud will progress in the coming weeks.
