Kurt Angle celebrated his 54th birthday a couple of weeks ago on Friday Night Smackdown. It was a memorable episode with a lot of moments that brought about a ton of nostalgia for many. Angle even received a gift from Jason Jordan, but he then lost it. Thankfully, it seems WWE ended up overnighting it to Angle.

During his birthday celebration, Kurt Angle hosed down The Alpha Academy while Gable Steveson stood by his side. This was a clear callback to Angle’s Milk Truck segment several years ago. In fact, Angel’s wife could smell milk on him days later.

Jason Jordan was Kurt Angle’s storyline son, but a proper storyline was never made as Jordan suffered a career-ending injury. Despite this, the two have a close relationship. During Angle’s appearance on Smackdown, Jason Jordan gifted him a photo of himself in his younger years surrounded by a heart made of pasta declaring Kurt Angle to be “#1 Dad.”

Angle ended up losing the gift that night in the arena. While speaking on the most recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show podcast, Kurt Angle revealed that WWE overnighted the gift to him after he lost it.

“Well, my son Jason Jordan, my son on TV, gave me a photo of him when he was seven years old, wrestling. It was on TV. He gave it to me. I wanted to keep it and I actually forgot it at the arena. So my wife was going crazy. Like, ‘You gotta get this thing.’ I’m like, ‘Don’t worry about it, it’s just a photo of Jason.’ She’s like, ‘We have to track this down. She calls WWE and tells them that they need to track it down and go back to the arena. So, some producer from WWE actually did it and they found the photo and they sent it to us. They overnighted it to us.

Kurt Angle is also almost fully recovered after his double knee surgery. Angle then revealed that he is going back into retirement after his appearance on Smackdown. We’ll have to wait and see when Angle will return to WWE television.
