Braun Strowman’s release from the company last year clearly shocked fans, as he was a huge star back then. He eventually returned to the company earlier this year and fans were glad to see him back. He remains linked with Bray Wyatt in one way or the other. Now it seems Strowman will be replaced by Drew McIntyre in the upcoming MSG show.

Bray Wyatt is currently feuding with LA Knight on Friday Night Smackdown. They have yet to square off against each other in a singles match. WWE will also build a huge match around Wyatt for their show at Madison Square Garden show this year.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Drew McIntyre will be replacing Braun Strowman in the show’s main event. He will team up with Sheamus and The Brawling Brutes and face off against The Bloodline, where Roman Reigns won’t be present.

”McIntyre is replacing Strowman in the main event at the 12/26 MSG house show. They’ve announced McIntyre & Sheamus & Holland & Butch vs. Usos & Zayn & Sikoa and a ladder match for the IC title with Gunther, Nakamura, Ricochet, Kingston and Escobar. They are actually building the show around the promotion of Wyatt’s first MSG appearance in three years.”
