Chris Jericho has done a great deal for the pro wrestling industry and has achieved true GOAT status for a good reason. His time in AEW has also been a very fruitful one for the company as well. Jericho has faced many opponents, including Bryan Danielson. However, Jericho wasn’t a fan of a particular match with Danielson.

The Ocho and The American Dragon duked it out with each other at AEW All Out. It wasn’t their first encounter together, but it was certainly their first at a major pay-per-view. Jericho ended up winning the match as well.

While speaking on his Talk is Jericho podcast, Chris Jericho talked about his match at AEW All Out. The Ocho admitted that he felt the match was a complete disappointment.

“September 4th, Chicago, I worked with Bryan Danielson. We had never really had a a single match of merit before. We had two shorter matches, but never anything that coudl be called an instant classic. And this one wasn’t classic. It was good, but I think we tried just a little bit too hard. The one we had the following week was a barn burner of all barn burners to me, but this one, we just tried a little bit too hard maybe, and it was good.

Don’t get me wrong, it was good. But I find sometimes that happens, sometimes you work with someone for the first time like Eddie Kingston, and you have just this amazing, incredible chemistry and sometimes you get pitted with a guy that you should have amazing chemistry with and it takes one or two matches to get into the groove.”

Chris Jericho is set to defend his ROH Championship against Claudio Castagnoli at ROH Final Battle on December 10th. It remains to be seen if he will be able to successfully defend his title or not.
