FTR was known as The Revival in WWE and they became one of the most legendary teams in NXT. Their main roster run, in comparison, was abysmal at best. This is because Vince McMahon never liked tag team wrestling, something that Dax Harwood doesn’t hold against the former WWE Chairman.

The Revival won the tag team titles on the main roster, but they were mostly made out to be jokes for the whole duration of their run. This included the segment where they had to shave each other’s backs.

Eventually, they asked for their release and left WWE. While speaking with Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful, Dax Harwood talked about FTR’s WWE departure. Harwood made it clear that he has no ill will towards Vince McMahon for not liking tag team wrestling and booking them well.

I can’t be mad at Vince, you know what I’m saying? Just like I said, if he doesn’t like tag team wrestling, that’s okay. One, it’s his company, but two, that’s okay. It’s his opinion to not like it. If he doesn’t like specifically me and Cash, that’s okay, too. It just sucks that he was the only billionaire boss at the time that was paying us that much money. But that’s totally okay, and I harbor no ill feelings towards him or towards the company or anything like that.

FTR is still evaluating their options once their AEW contracts expire, as a WWE return could be on the horizon. Regardless, we will have to wait and see what FTR will do in the end.
