Joe Doering gained recognition for his work in All Japan Pro Wrestling, where he’s a former two-time Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion, and Impact Wrestling. The 40-year-old was forced to step away from the squared circle due to brain cancer.

A fundraiser was launched to help the Impact star battle the terrible sickness. The GoFundMe campaign for Joe Doering has, so far, raised $25,343, with more coming from fans and peers alike. Impact Wrestling’s Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore donated a generous amount to the campaign as well.

The Impact official took to Twitter and called on fans and peers alike to send their donations to the fundraiser so that Joe Doering could overcome his battle with brain cancer. Scott made a passionate plea to wherein he urged the pro wrestling world to band together for the cause.
