WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view is the company’s next big show, and we’ve got almost two months of build for the event at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. January 28th will be here before we know it, and WWE is considering some big plans.

Wrestling News reports that WWE is currently considering a Hell in a Cell match for the big show. It was not noted who the participants in that match might be.

There’s been talk in WWE about a Hell in a Cell match happening at the Royal Rumble PLE.

Triple H made it clear in the media conference after Survivor Series WarGames that Hell in a Cell matches are “blow-off” matches. This is why the gimmick match lost its yearly pay-per-view.

Only time will tell how often WWE holds Hell in a Cell matches, but it seems that fans might not have to wait long to see their next contest in that unforgiving structure.
