AEW Dark is considered the B-Show in All Elite Wrestling. The show is often reserved for wrestlers who can’t get any television time on AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage. However, in recent weeks, the show has been gaining traction due to one storyline.

The storyline involving Matt Hardy and The Firm, particularly Ethan Page has been one of the best storylines in the company. This storyline has always featured Private Party. Fightful Select is now reporting that the entire storyline has been put together by Matt Hardy and Ethan Page and has received positive feedback on social media.

One of the more positively received storylines in All Elite Wrestling of late has almost completely been on AEW Dark, and created by the talent themselves.

One of the more positively received storylines in All Elite Wrestling of late has almost completely been on AEW Dark, and created by the talent themselves. In October, a story between The Firm and Matt Hardy started, which has also expanded to Private Party. While it’s largely focused around Matt Hardy and Ethan Page, several other talent have been involved. Those that we spoke to said that Hardy and Page were excited to work together for the angle, and it was almost entirely creatively developed by them. There was also a heated three minute backstage promo between the two that aired on Dark, that we’re told they and Private Party complete in one take. The angle has received positive reviews on social media thus far, and we’re told is a part of an effort to have more stories carry over onto AEW Dark,” per Fightful Select.

Having more storylines carry over from AEW Dynamite into AEW Dark will only help the show’s popularity and provide more exposure to the rest of the roster. While this storyline is one of the best things going on in AEW at the moment, it will be interesting to see how it comes to an end.
