AEW has developed quite a bit since its debut back in 2019, especially regarding their production quality and overall presentation. However, not everything about the company gets props. This includes the roster being bloated, something that Fuego Del Sol doesn’t think is an issue.

There is no doubt that AEW has a very deep and diverse roster of talented in-ring performers from all over the world, incorporating quite a few styles of pro wrestling. Unfortunately, AEW’s roster has become too big for its own good as fans now feel the roster is bloated and out of control.

While speaking with AJ Awesome on The AJ Awesome Show, Fuego Del Sol talked about AEW’s pressing issue with its blasted roster. Dol Sol made it clear that he would rather have too much talent than not enough.

“The AEW roster is stacked right now. We have so many great guys, and guys are champing at the bit for any bit of TV time and match time they can get. For us to develop and go forward, I can’t wait to see what the next year holds for AEW and Ring of Honor together because I think it’s gonna help shape wrestling in a different way and we’re gonna get to see a lot more stories.

Like I said, I think it’s a credit to the roster that we have developed. Incredible guys, veteran guys that have been doing this for nearly 30 years. All these guys champing at the bit, the talent is so good, and I feel like that’s a good problem to have. I’d have too much good talent than not enough. But I’m excited to see what my future holds, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for the company going forward.”

Tony Khan also boasted that AEW made the pro wrestling business hotter. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether AEW will end up releasing more talent in the future or not.
