Dustin Rhodes Says He Doesn’t Want Another Match Against Cody Rhodes

Dustin Rhodes is a true veteran of pro wrestling, and he has competed for several decades. The Natural has squared off against numerous top talent in AEW so far, including his brother Cody Rhodes. Despite this, he doesn’t want to have another match against Cody Rhodes.

The Natural began his AEW career by feuding with his brother Cody Rhodes. It saw the two clash at AEW Double Or Nothing in 2019. The match received a ton of praise from fans and pro wrestlers alike.

While speaking on Talk is Jericho, Dustin Rhodes made it clear that he has no intention of ever squaring off against his brother Cody Rhodes in a match again in the future.

”I could never do anything like that ever again. Everybody’s saying, ‘Man, you guys need to have a second match,’ and it’s like, ‘No, I’m not touching that.’ I can’t because it won’t live up to the expectations.”

Dustin Rhodes also doesn’t want to end up like Ric Flair in his retirement match. It remains to be seen what Rhodes will do next in AEW, as he continues to be a solid addition to the AEW roster.
