Saraya Feared She Made A Mistake Coming Back To Pro Wrestling After Botched AEW Promo

Saraya’s WWE career will forever be remembered as one of the most important in the last decade. After being let go by WWE, Saraya decided to test her luck in AEW. It didn’t get off to the best of starts, as even Saraya felt coming back to pro wrestling was a mistake.

Saraya’s debut promo in AEW received a lot of criticism for good reason. This included her taking a shot at Vince McMahon as well. It ended up killing some of her momentum.

While speaking on AEW Unrestricted with Aubrey Edwards and Tony Schiavone, Saraya talked about her first promo in AEW. Saraya admitted that she feared she made a mistake coming back to pro wrestling.

I will tell you though, the second week when I did the promo, which wasn’t the best promo I ever did and I was really disappointed in it, I realized how crazy the internet community can be. I even, in my head at that point, was like ‘did I make a mistake coming back?’”

Renee Paquette also helps Saraya with her promo skills. She was also triumphant over Britt Baker at AEW Full Gear. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for Saraya.
