CM Punk has appeared three times on The Walking Dead’s Chris Hardwick-hosted aftershow, Talking Dead. He was featured on the show once in 2012 and twice in 2014. CM Punk might not be back in the ring, but he was back on television last night.

The Former WWE, AEW, and Ring of Honor champion made an appearance on Talking Dead last night. He was featured in a celebrity montage thanking the cast and crew. He also said goodbye to everyone as the renowned AMC series The Walking Dead came to an end last evening.

The same evening CM Punk’s theme music ‘Cult Of Personality’ also started trending on Twitter. However, the hashtag was only tangentially connected to the controversial wrestling figure this time.

With fans feeling nostalgic about the long-running series coming to an end, there was one more bit of entertainment for wrestling enthusiasts watching: a very famous entrance theme was featured in the finale. According to viewers, the well-known song was played to attract the zombies. Fans couldn’t help but respond on Twitter, taking advantage of the occasion to express their humorous reactions.
