The Undertaker gave a memorable and emotional speech as he was inducted into 2022’s class of the WWE Hall of Fame. Fans waited a very long time for that to happen, and they were not disappointed. However, there were some notable exclusions from his ceremony as Teddy Long wasn’t part of the ceremony, which puzzled fans. In fact, even Teddy Long had no idea why he wasn’t invited to the ceremony.

WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long was one of the more popular General Managers in WWE history, famous for dancing to his own theme song. He also became known for booking stars in a match against The Undertaker while using his iconic catchphrase.

While speaking on the One on One podcast, Teddy Long talked about being excluded from The Undertaker’s Hall of Fame ceremony. Long made it clear he had no idea why he wasn’t invited.

“Well, that’s not my call, you know. I don’t know who was in charge of all that. I’m pretty sure at that time, Laurinaitis was there for sure. Like I said, not my call. I couldn’t understand it either, but like I said, that belongs to them, and I don’t worry about if they don’t want me, then they don’t want me. It’s just that simple.”

Teddy Long is enjoying life after retirement and couldn’t be happier. The same can be said about The Undertaker, who is also set to do a huge event before the Royal Rumble next year. Only time will tell if Taker and Long ever meet again, but odds are the famous GM won’t get to book anyone in a one-on-one match with The Undertaker again.
