Call For Nick Aldis To End Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Title Run

Nick Aldis was synonymous with the NWA since his debut for the company in 2017. He had a solid run as the NWA World Heavyweight Champion and was respected by many, but that is all in the past now. Aldis is now a free agent, there is a belief, from at least one WWE Hall of Famer, that Aldis will be the one to dethrone Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns has been the WWE Universal Champion for over 2 years now and remains the Undisputed champion even now. No one can simply touch The Tribal Chief and fans have been wondering who will end up dethroning Reigns for the titles.

While speaking on One on One, Teddy Long talked about Nick Aldis leaving the NWA. Long stated that he believes Aldis should go to WWE and beat Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.

“That’s money right there. But I’ll kind of do it the other way around. I’ll have Nick come in first and take the belt from Roman Reigns. I’d do it that way.”

Nick Aldis also wants to remain free agent for the time being.  The recently departed former NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion also hinted at joining WWE recently. It remains to be seen whether he will sign with WWE and beat Roman Reigns or not.
