Akira Tozawa Hints At WWE Departure After RAW

Akira Tozawa was part of the Cruiserweight division in WWE before he was relegated to the WWE 24/7 Title picture for years. His ninja gimmick was not popular with fans, as he mostly just competed on Main Event. He also hinted at leaving WWE recently after a rare appearance on RAW.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Akira Tozawa squared off against Baron Corbin in a singles match. Tozawa looked great in the match, despite losing in the end.

Fans definitely wanted to see more of him after the match. However, Akira Tozawa took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of his ring gear, as he seemingly hinted at leaving WWE.

Of course, it could also mean that he is simply ditching his ninja gimmick for good. Regardless, we will have to wait and see what will become of the Japanese superstar.
