Elon Musk finally took over Twitter and that immediately pushed a lot of people, including WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley and former AEW World Champion Adam Page, away from the bird app. Musk also introduced a new verification system, allowing users to get their account verified for eight bucks.

ECW icon and former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam took to Twitter on Sunday and provided his two cents on the new verification system. The former Money in the Bank winner had a hilarious take on all the trolls pretending to be the real RVD on Twitter.

At least now, with the rented verification check marks, the fake RVD accounts can get more followers than they already do. What could be better than a multitude of one-of-a-kinders ? #intendedsarcasm

RVD will be inducted into the 2300 Arena Hardcore Hall of Fame by longtime rival and friend Jerry Lynn. The induction ceremony will take place inside the iconic venue on December 17, 2022.
