WWE Is Looking For Highlight Reel Footage With Survivor Series WarGames Matches

Ever since Triple H took charge of WWE Creative, the company has witnessed several big changes already. This included The Game bringing WarGames matches to the main roster. In fact, WWE is looking for highlight reel material with their WarGames matches, because there are not a lot of previous match highlights that they can use.

The company previously announced that this year’s Survivor Series Premium Live Event will feature the big main roster return of WarGames matches, one for men and one for women. We are still waiting for those lineups to fill, but the company is expecting big things.

Naturally, fans were very excited about this announcement as well. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is looking for highlight reel material with their WarGames matches.

We were told that they are looking for some great visual shots of big spots out of this year’s War Games because War Games will be a regular presentation on the main roster going forward and they want spectacular looking shots to promote it in future years.

They don’t like the idea of having to use NXT footage to promote a main roster PPV but it’s the only modern War Games footage they have, and so much of that footage includes guys who they don’t want to use because they are no longer with the company.

The WWE Survivor Series Premium Live Event will take place on Saturday, November 26th from the TD Garden in Boston. We’ll have to wait and see whether the event will end up becoming a highlight reel or not.
