Tommaso Ciampa made his main roster debut earlier this year. Since then, he was placed in a team with The Miz where he acted as The Miz’s muscle. However, Ciampa has been missing from WWE programming for the past several weeks. It doesn’t look like we’ll see him again for a while.

Last month, Tommaso Ciampa revealed that he underwent hip labrum surgery. Now, PW Insider is reporting that Ciampa will be out of action for the rest of the year and will only return next year.

“In asking around, we are told he isn’t expected back until next year,”

Tommaso Ciampa’s last match was on September 17th when he faced Bobby Lashley at a WWE live event. With Ciampa out of action, it will be interesting to see how The Miz will fare in his feud with Dexter Lumis.

Ciampa is in rehab, working hard every day to get back to the ring. Only time will tell how long it takes for Tommaso Ciampa to make it back to the ring, but fans can’t wait to see him make his return so Triple H can continue booking one of his favorite former NXT Champions.

Please wish Tommaso Ciampa a speedy recovery in the comments section.
