Impact Wrestling said goodbye to Chelsea Green once again this week on their AXS TV show. Chelsea Green lost a match to Mickie James, and then things were wrapped up in a promo as she left the building.

Chelsea Green said she was upset that she didn’t beat Mickie James, because she was supposed to beat her and retire the legendary female wrestler. That being said, she planned to go home after that.

“I was supposed to beat her. I was supposed to retire Mickie James, Deonna. I’m going. I’m going home. Deonna, I’m going home.”

Chelsea Green went home after that, and it looks like her time in Impact Wrestling is over. She declined a new contract with the company, leaving many to believe she is returning to WWE. To add even more fuel to that speculation, Chelsea Green recently stated that she has unfinished business in WWE.

“I have unfinished business at WWE, period. But I would go into it totally different than I did the last time, and I think that’s also the beauty of growing up.”

We’ll have to see what’s next for Chelsea Green. She has denied that WWE was in contact with her, but only time will tell if she winds up getting another shot with Triple H in control of Vince McMahon’s former company.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
