AEW and Warner Bros Discovery have demonstrated lot of synergy, with several AEW events sporting WBD show branding. WBD frequently mentions AEW ratings in press releases as well. AEW has additional content plans in the works, which is good for the future of the company and Warner Bros. Discovery.

According to Fightful Select, the new AEW docuseries that is presently filming has sparked interest at Warner Bros. Discovery. After the recent merger, there was some doubt regarding AEW’s future with WBD. However, things now appear more promising as a WBD insider has revealed that AEW will likely be offered a renewal with a sizable raise on their rights fee negotiations when the time comes.

AEW and Warner Bros Discovery have worked together and been receptive to one another’s ideas. The WBD source said that pro wrestling popularity has seen a significant uptick this year across the board, and both AEW and WWE benefited greatly from this.
