The demand for AEW merchandise used to be practically out of control among wrestling fans worldwide. Fans all over would love to rock “Scissor Me Daddy Ass” foam fingers, but they are hard to find. There is a reason for that, because AEW only made a handful of those items, leaving a lot of money on the table in the process.

One of our readers sent a tip to Ringside News to say that the new “Scissor Me Daddy Ass” foam fingers were highly featured on Dynamite, however, they were scarcely noticeable in the crowd. The reader also mentioned that they only made thirty of them for a crowd of 3,500 people. According to the reader, everyone in the crowd wanted it since it was one of the best pieces of merchandise they had ever seen.

I was recently an attendee of the last AEW Baltimore show. Just wanted to say that while the new scissor me daddy ass foam fingers were heavily highlighted on the segment, they were few and far between in the crowd. That’s because they only made and sold THIRTY (30) for a crowd of nearly, 3,500. I don’t know if this would be a production run issue, or they were testing to see the reception of the merch, but nearly EVERYONE there wanted one. They sold out in minutes. Was insane to my friends and I that they made 30 for a crowd that size, and it’s one of the greatest piece of merch we’d ever seen. All 6 of us wanted one.

The reader even mentioned that WWE has more merchandise stands than AEW unless they are in Chicago. We were also told that AEW only had six boxes of six different t-shirts and a couple of action-signed figures, emphasizing the fact that they had only thirty foam fingers.

Maybe I’m just used to a WWE show having the merch backing and having 4 different stands in the arena but because of the size of AEWs shows unless it’s Chicago they usually only have a single merch stand. Gives a big “portion of the truck” vibe vs “the entire truck is filled with merch to sell*. They had at most 6 boxes of 6 different shirts. If they ran out that was it. And a couple of signed action figures. Again along with 30 of the foam fingers.

The official AEW Shop sells a Scissor Me Daddy Ass t-shirt, sticker, and 8×10, but no foam fingers. For the time being, they only have Orange Cassidy’s foam finger in stock. Let’s see whether they restock it because, as our reader noted, the foam fingers can result in a massive profit for AEW. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Ringside News.
