Seth Rollins has accomplished a great deal during his time in WWE, as he is a multi-time world champion and took part in numerous solid feuds as well. He is often compared to the likes of Shawn Michaels, but not everyone agrees with these comparisons.

Shawn Michaels is certainly one of the best in-ring performers to have ever graced a WWE ring, as his in-ring genius is truly second to none. In fact, Kurt Angle recently called Rollins the next Shawn Michaels.

While speaking on episode 268 of Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru, Jim Cornette addressed the comparisons between Rollins and Michaels. While Cornette praised Rollins, he made it clear that he doubts Rollins has drawing power as Michaels did.

“I think he (Kurt Angle) is making the comparison because they resemble each other, in terms of, they were in the guy in WWE at their individual times that was long, lean, and athletic. I don’t know that you can compare Seth with Shawn Michaels in terms of, you know, drawing ability and box office.

I mean, Seth is good,” Cornette added. “But Michaels, the one thing you have to do about the obnoxious little pr*** that he was, he was nearly the best in the business. Especially at the WWF style of the 90s.’

Seth Rollins is the United States Champion and is clearly taking his role as the champion very seriously. We will have to wait and see how he will be booked as the champion till then.
