WWE has been going through a lot of changes ever since Triple H took over. This is especially true when it comes to people he brought back in the past few months. Even Gabe Sapolsky, whom The Game re-hired, was spotted at a recent indie show.
As previously reported, Triple H hired back Gabe Sapolsky last month. He was fired earlier this year, which shocked many fans. The former EVOLVE head honcho has already started with his new duties.
According to Bryan Alvarez, on Wrestling Observer Radio, Gabe Sapolsky attended the recent Defy Wrestling show and was blown away. It was not noted that this was an official scouting trip, but Sapolsky certainly loved the show.
“Gabe Sapolsky was there. He was blown away by the show.”
Dave Meltzer then said that Gabe just happened to be in town. Now that Triple H is in charge, there has been a renewed focus on scouting independent wrestling talent again. We’ll have to wait and see which other talent WWE will end up signing next.
