Kevin Owens Can’t Wait To See Sami Zayn Become WWE World Champion

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn share a very close friendship. The two men have competed around the world and that has helped strengthen their bond further. In fact, Kevin Owens debuted the same night Sami Zayn won the NXT title. However, he turned on him and attacked him after the title win.

A lot has changed since then. Currently, Sami Zayn is part of The Bloodline and is one of the most over superstars on the roster. Given that he and Jey Uso don’t quite get along, fans have been expecting Sami Zayn to turn on The Bloodline and align himself with Kevin Owens again.

During an appearance on The Happy Hour, Kevin opened up about Sami Zayn’s chances of winning a world title. It turns out that it is something he is looking forward to.

“I’m really looking forward to the night he wins, whether it be the Universal Title or whatever title, that he might win, and I get to share that with him as well. I’m sure it’s gonna happen sooner than later.”

During the same interview, Kevin Owens recalled how he and Sami Zayn got together after the former won the Universal Championship a few years ago. Those two men certainly have an interesting dynamic. It will be interesting to see if we will get to see them back as a team.
