Apollo Crews Says Solo Sikoa Is Going To Be A ‘Megastar’

Earlier this year, Apollo Crews was sent back to NXT from WWE’s main roster. He has been a mainstay and feuded with several stars on that brand, including Grayson Waller currently. Now Apollo has been offering praise.

While speaking with Rick Ucchino of Cageside Seats, Crews went into detail about the depth of young talent in NXT currently. He highlighted Waller, Carmelo Hayes, and Solo Sikoa, among others. Apollo wanted to work with Solo prior to being moved up to the main roster, actually.

“I can give props where props are due. Grayson Waller is a very talented individual. Carmelo Hayes is another one. We already saw Solo (Sikoa) get called up, you know, one of the guys that I was looking forward to doing some more work with. I mean he’s on his way to becoming a Superstar. Already is, you know, next is gonna be megastar for him. Wes Lee, who’s been around for a while, but gets to showcase his skill this weekend too in the ladder match. Lots of talent. The Creed Brothers, you know, some good guys down there. Damon Kemp, you know, there’s a lot of talent, lot of young guys.”

Crews describe how the performers in NXT are hungry and eager to learn. He stated how it’s clear that they all want to succeed, and they aim to take over the business. Apollo stated that the passion of the talent is apparent when he talks to them.

“Not just the fact that they’re there, but they’re hungry as well, and they’re willing to learn. They wanna learn, they wanna succeed and they want to do well. They wanna take over this business, if you want to say that. You know what I mean? So it’s good to see, because you can feel the passion just by speaking to some of them. You know when it’s not upfront. You can feel that they want this and that they’re hungry and ready,” he said.

Solo, Grayson, and Carmelo have big potential for their futures in WWE and pro wrestling as a whole. With their charisma and in-ring skill set, the three will do well. Hopefully, Crews gets more opportunities with championship gold since he’s a former Intercontinental and United States Champion from the WWE main roster.
