Shawn Michaels is the greatest of all time. He has accomplished things both in the ring and outside of it with his presence, skill and ability to approach people. He has kept things in order on the third brand, NXT.

Shawn recently appeared on “The Ringer Wrestling Show,” and talked about how his responsibilities have increased after Triple H took the charge of the creative head in the WWE.

Usually Hunter is the one that’s out there in front of the cameras doing all the talking for NXT. But his responsibilities have grown. It also means that mine have grown. The image of NXT still needs to be represented; that falls on me. Clearly, I’m thrilled to be able to do that. It is a new role for me. I usually am more comfortable behind the scenes in doing my job, but this is an exciting new time. I love the men and women in NXT. I love helping them out. The hardest aspect of the job for me, to be perfectly honest, is getting out there and promoting NXT.

Shawn Michaels has been backstage in NXT and taken up responsibilities that match his domain. With the change, his work has grown, and so he now looks at things beyond what’s available and tries to make the product better.

Shawn, alongside Triple H and Road Dogg, are the people behind NXT. The brand has grown by leaps and bounds and the show is now one of the best shows in the WWE brand list.

Michaels understands that it’s difficult to carry on the legacy that Triple H created in NXT. It’s understandable that Triple H’s vision of the WWE is different than Vince, while they worked together before Hunter took creative control.

What do you think of this change in the roles and responsibilities? Sound off in the comments.
