Humberto Garza, an EMLL star of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, passed away earlier today at the age of 85. For those who don’t know, he was the grandfather of WWE superstars Angel Garza and Humberto Carillo. Both Humberto and Angel Garza are a tag team in WWE.

The entire wrestling community sent their condolences to the Humberto family. One known wrestler who sent a heartfelt message to Angel Garza and Humberto Carillo is Alberto El Patron former known as Alberto Del Rio. The Mexican star took to Twitter to send his wishes to the family in Spanish, which translated into a heartfelt message.

“Today Mexican wrestling is mourning the loss of Mr. Humberto Garza. To his grandchildren, @AngelGarzaWwe and @humberto_wwe , my condolences and a big hug, as well as to all his family and fans at this difficult time. Rest in peace Don Humberto.”

It’s a great loss for the wrestling community indeed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family in these difficult times.
