Mandy Rose may be absent from NXT TV, but that doesn’t mean she is letting Alba Fyre get away that easily for attacking her last week. Tonight, the NXT Women’s Champion got the laugh as a close friend from the main roster did the work for her.

Alba Fyre squared off against Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction tonight on NXT. Alba Fyre made quick work of Jacy Jayne and picked up the win. As she was heading back, a hooded figure in the crowd grabbed Alba Fyre by the hair.

The person was revealed to be none other than Sonya Deville. Sonya Deville attacked Alba Fyre and dragged her across the ring to the announcer’s table. Toxic Attraction joined and the trio delivered a Shield-like powerbomb to Alba Fyre through the table.

Sonya Deville and Toxic Attraction were asked about their motives backstage after the attack on Alba Fyre. Sonya Deville said she might have her differences with Mandy Rose but the two are still best friends and that she’ll be waiting for Alba Fyre next week.

For those not in the know, Mandy Rose didn’t work NXT last week and tonight as well because her brother passed away a couple of days ago. The NXT Women’s Champion issued a statement following her sibling’s demise.
