Maxwell Jacob Friedman is one of the best names going around in the wrestling business. He is an AEW Heel and leaves no stone unturned to make his character become impressive.

Friedman has always been in the news due to the opportunities that surround the talented superstar. He even talked about how he wanted to go to WWE if The Game is ready for the game during one of his AEW promos.

In a discussion with Not Sam Wrestling, MJF talked about his thoughts on wrestling and the overall performance in general. He stated that he studies the product as he doesn’t like wrestling.

I don’t even like wrestling. I study it. I had to, in order to be the best. Throughout studying it, I grew an appreciation towards professional wrestling, but once I’m done with wrestling, you will never see me again. Ever. I’m using this sport like a succubus, I’m sucking the life out of it, the blood, the money, and then I will be gone. I’ve already booked a HUGE movie, I’m not allowed to announce what it is, but it will be happening and it will be announced soon. I have that going on. The people at Warner Brothers Discovery are crazy high on MJF and are coming up with potential ideas for MJF outside of the wrestling-sphere. There’s also a podcasting opportunity that has been thrown my way that I am considering.

MJF said that he doesn’t want to do anything with wrestling after he is done with it. He is in it for the money, fame and anything that comes with it. Friedman talked about the options presented to him.

He didn’t disclose the movie announced to him, or the podcast choices presented to him, but was clear that he didn’t want to return to the squared circle after he is done with wrestling.

What do you think of MJF’s comments? Chime in.
