Last week, the wrestling community was saddened to learn that 2015 WWE Tough Enough winner Sara Lee had passed away at the age of 30. Wrestlers and fans from all across the world sent their condolences to Lee’s Family.

A GoFundMe for Sara Lee also smashed its $20k goal with over $100k in donations. Tony Khan donated $10k of that amount, and tons more notable names like Alexa Bliss, Chris Jericho, and many more added their funds.

Sara Lee’s family, during their time of mourning, didn’t issue any statement about the former NXT star’s demise. However, almost a week after the tragic news, the family has released a statement via Bull James, who also arranged the GoFundMe.

“On behalf of the Weston and Lee family we would like to express our deepest gratitude for the love that has been shown Cory, Sara, and their beautiful children. Cory has taken a step back from social media but is blown away by the generosity everyone has shown.

Thank you, will never be enough.”

Bull James even set up a GoFundMe for people to aid the family in this difficult. Well-known names from the world of professional wrestling contributed towards the campaign such as Tony Khan, Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Elias etc. The campaign has raised over $100,000 so far.
