Daniel Cormier was the special guest referee in the Fight Pit match between Seth “Freaking” Rollins and Matt Riddle at Saturday’s WWE Extreme Rules. He had such a good time, that he’s considering a run with the company.

When speaking to the Associate Press, Cormier still has an interest in joining WWE even though he has no commitments to them right now. Hopefully, a possible match to compete despite being 43 years old. But he has to get in shape first.

“I’ve been retired for a couple of years and I look like it. But I’d have to get in shape if I ever want to do something like that,” Cormier said. “The door is not closed on anything right now in my life.”

Cormier is ready to take the call to return to the squared circle. He doesn’t care if it’s Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, or any WWE superstar.

“I’m still at an age where there are some opportunities, but those opportunities need to start now if they’re going to be something I pursue,” he said.

With his MMA skills, Cormier should have no problem competing. However, he may have to get in more ring shape and learn the pro wrestling basics for a decent match. Should have no problem despite the age of 43.
