WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley is considered a legend in the pro wrestling industry. Mick Foley worked in other companies and also worked with numerous top stars in the industry.

Mick Foley truly made a name for himself as Mankind, one of the biggest stars of The Attitude Era. He became world champion numerous times and after retirement, he still put over many younger stars.

While speaking on the Foley is Pod podcast, Mick Foley claimed that he is the Bret Hart of transitional champions and explained why he felt so.

“There was a lot of pressure on the champion, pressure that I didn’t feel because I was a transitional champion… I’ll argue that I was the greatest — I was the Bret Hart of transitional champions, right? The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. But I never had to carry the company on my back, whereas Shawn was.”

Mick Foley will continue to have opinions that many won’t necessarily agree with. We will have to wait and see whether he will return to WWE television in the future or not.
