Triple H Regrets Never Working With Rey Mysterio

For many fans and pro wrestlers, Triple H is a pioneer in the world of professional wrestling. After accomplishing a lot as a pro wrestler, he became the brains behind NXT’s gold and black era.

The Game has squared off against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer. That being said, he didn’t get to face everyone.

While speaking with Lad Bible, Triple H revealed that he still regrets not being able to face off against Rey Mysterio more in his career.

I always wanted to work with Rey Mysterio. I think I’ve been in the ring with him twice [in] my entire career. There’s certain guys like that…We just never ended up in the same place in the same storylines. I: ve thrown it out there a lot over the years of like, ‘Hey, what if Rey and I did something?’.

But he was always on SmackDown [while] I was on Raw or vice versa. It just never panned out but he’s always a guy that I always thought ‘Man, I would have loved to have gone and done something big with him’”.

Triple H is also fully focused on developing WWE talent now that he is no longer an active in-ring competitor. We will have to wait and see how NXT will flourish under Triple H again.
