Goldberg is one superstar that has had two exceptional runs in the WWE. His first run saw him wrestle from 1997 to WrestleMania 20 in 2004. The second one started at Survivor Series 2016 and is still going on as of this writing.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Goldberg is not booked for WWE Crown Jewel. That being said, Brock Lesnar is booked for Saudi Arabia.

The new regime isn’t interested in bringing in part-timers to the WWE and getting the moment stolen by some old wrestler when they can create a new superstar. The myth spoke about his WWE contract status and facing Roman Reigns on The Bump after the new regime took over.

I don’t have any matches left on my contract, but I know one way we could take care of [Roman Reigns]. I do need to give him a little receipt for that little choke-out in Saudi Arabia, but I think there are a number of superstars capable of dethroning him.

The Iconic has wrestled 12 matches since his return in 2016. A part of those matches, 7 to be precise, have been for the WWE or the Universal Championship. He is the only WWE Hall of Famer who got inducted and has won a championship after his induction.

Goldberg has two Universal Championship wins to his credit. The first came when he took down Kevin Owens at Fastlane in 2017 while the second came at Super ShowDown when he defeated The Fiend in 2020. He got inducted into WWE HOF in 2018.

Goldberg holds wins over Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar which is an amazing feat. While there are no rumors of him appearing at any major show, things can change in the WWE in a second.

What are your thoughts on Goldberg returning for a WWE run under the new regime? Sound off in the comments.
