Saraya Reveals Who Knew About Her AEW Debut

Paige was forced to retire from in-ring competition in 2017 after she was kicked from behind during a WWE house show. She remained relevant in other roles for years afterwards, but her in-ring return never happened.

The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion departed from the company back in July after WWE decided not to renew her contract for some reason. After waiting a couple of months, Paige did what she thought was best for her career.

This is because Paige made her debut during AEW Grand Slam, much to the shock of the world, as Saraya. A lot of people were surprised, but Saraya took to Twitter last night and revealed that Renee Paquette knew about her AEW debut in advance.

WWE also wanted to bring back Paige after Triple H took over. We’ll have to see what Saraya will have to say on the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite.
