Saraya Shoots Down Report That She Isn’t Medically Cleared For In-Ring Return

Paige was forced to retire from in-ring competition in 2017 after she was kicked from behind during a WWE house show. She remained relevant in other roles for years afterwards, but her in-ring return never happened.

The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion departed from the company back in July after WWE decided not to renew her contract for some reason. After waiting a couple of months, Paige did what she thought was best for her career.

This is because she made her debut during AEW Grand Slam, much to the shock of the world. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that Saraya was not cleared for an in-ring return.

Saraya took to Twitter and simply told fans not to believe dirt sheets while plugging her upcoming appearance on AEW Dynamite.

“Ignore the dirt sheet clickbait. See ya Wednesday. #AEWDynamite.”

WWE also wanted to bring back Paige after Triple H took over. We’ll have to see what Saraya will have to say on the upcoming epside of AEW Dynamite.
