Tony Khan shook up the pro wrestling world when he bought ROH. That changed everything and their roster was soon picked apart. Now it seems another former World Champion has departed from that situation.

PW Insider reports that former ROH World Champion Dalton Castle is officially a free agent. He is not bound to any contract with ROH or AEW. That being said, Castle’s situation explains his lack of presence from AEW Dynamite this week in Buffalo.

We were asked by several readers where former ROH World Champion Dalton Castle was last night since AEW ran Buffalo, which is in his home area (he’s originally from Rochester, NY, about an hour away).

While Castle has made appearances for Ring of Honor since it was purchased by Tony Khan, PWInsider.com has confirmed he is not under contract to anyone currently and is 100% a free agent.

We’ll have to see where Dalton Castle lands next. He has a ton of potential and has already lit up the pro wrestling world time and time again. It seems that things weren’t destined for him to work out in Tony Khan’s version of ROH.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
