WWE superstars who saw their entrance themes change often want them back. Fans associate stars with their former themes out of nostalgia, as it gets deeply connected to their image.

Drew McIntyre brought back his “Broken Dreams” theme song at Clash at the Castle pay-per-view. The reaction from fans was massive. He worked hard to get it used once again, though he wasn’t the only one who tried to get their old theme back.

Sheamus also had an iconic entrance theme called “Written in My Face.” Fans want to see The Celtic Warrior make his entrance with it once again, and they express that frequently.

The WWE superstar spoke with Josh Lawless of SPORTBible. He said that he tried to get “Written In My Face” for his WWE entrance as well. However, he “wasn’t able to get it approved.”

Of course, it’s amazing what music can do. I had so many requests when I came back in 2020 for me to bring back ‘Written in My Face.’ … But it’s just funny, when that music hits the reaction it can have on the crowd.

Sheamus didn’t get his request approved, unfortunately. However, since Drew McIntyre finally gave back to the fans with his theme, perhaps one day Sheamus would be able to do that too.
