AEW has an incredibly deep roster and tag team division as well. It is no exaggeration to say AEW has one of the best tag team divisions in the world right now. Anthony Bowens. It turns out that Bowens also sees a benefit to having CM Punk around.

During the post-AEW All Out media scrum, CM Punk exploded in epic fashion on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks. CM Punk has now become public enemy #1 for many.

While speaking to Wrestling Inc before All Out, Anthony Bowens talked about his relationship with CM Punk. Bowens stated that CM Punk has been a good asset to AEW.

“I have a great relationship with Punk. He was here a couple weeks in, I barely knew him at the time, and he just had wrestled a match, and he was taking the time out to pull Dante and I to his trailer to do tape study. He’s been a resource since he’s came. So I think he’s been a good asset to the company, especially from an analytical point of view too, from all the money that he brings in and the ratings and such.”

AEW might also fire CM Punk over the post-All Out media scrum incident. We will have to wait and see what will happen to Punk after this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
