AEW has a loaded roster of talent, but a few stars have been absent in recent memory. Now, fans might see Samoa Joe once again.

Samoa Joe is a veteran in the world of pro wrestling. He’s spanned through all the big promotions and even appeared in many indie ones. The star hasn’t been on television recently, but there’s a very good reason for that.

The ROH Television Champion hasn’t been seen on AEW television. Odds are he will be back sooner than later, because the project he’s been working on just wrapped.

The Samoan Submission Machine has taken a few acting gigs in recent memory, including Shark King. Now it appears that he will get twisted with his next acting project.

Samoa Joe has been out of action filming Twisted Metal, a Peacock series based on the classic video game. Showrunner Michael Jonathan Smith posted an image on Twitter revealing that the season has officially wrapped filming.

That’s a wrap on season one!

We’ll have to see how things turn out with Twisted Metal. Only time will tell if this leads to other acting projects, because a few roles could call for someone with Joe’s unique attributes.

Are you pumped for the Twisted Metal show? Sound off in the comments!
