Towards the end of the Attitude Era and the beginning of the Ruthless Aggression era, Brian Gewirtz was a seasoned and respected head writer during his time in WWE. Sometimes he had to shoot down crazy angles, including one involving Torrie Wilson.

Gewirtz is making the media rounds to promote his new book “There’s Just One Problem…” He has talked about a proposed angle that involved a naked Torrie Wilson and had to kill that idea on the fly.

“That’s what Paul’s (Heyman) protege at the time was proposing. That’s what precipitated the big confrontation because we were all led to believe that this was going to be some high concept, long term storyline, unbelievable angle.”

“Then when it was basically proposed that through various coverings and slights of camera that it would be a naked Torrie Wilson on camera. That’s when I scoffed at that idea and found it to be ludicrous and that form of disrespect is what prompted the pinch fight heard round the world.”

This led to a physical fight with Heyman backstage. Gewirtz then mentioned that he and Heyman get along great currently. He also talked about The Bloodline, his new book, and other topics. You can check out the podcast below.
