Edge formed the Judgement Day faction at WrestleMania 38 as Damian Priest joined up with the Rated R Superstar. Rhea Ripley then joined the faction. However, Edge was then kicked out of the faction as Finn Balor joined them instead.

Following his feud with Seth Rollins, Edge turned heel until he eventually went babyface in his feud against Judgment Day. Edge is more than used to playing both roles as well.

While speaking with Bleacher Report, Edge was asked about turning heel earlier this year to lead The Judgment Day faction. Edge stated that he doesn’t mind repeated changes in his character.

“As I’ve said, since I’ve been back, I look at myself as a designated hitter, so you put me in where you need me. You need me to turn heel? Alright, we’ll give it a shot. I don’t know if it’s going to work, but we’ll give it a shot. Then, ‘OK, we’ve got some injuries, I need you to turn back face.’ ‘Alright, cool. We’ll give it a shot because I’ve been trying to be an a**h**e for two months, so we’ll see.'”
