The security that SmackDown featured this week weren’t actually hired security from some local company or police officers. The group consisted of people who knew how to take a bump, and that list of people included a veteran indie wrestler.

One of the officers arresting Rousey, Officer Davis, was Canadian independent wrestler KC Spinelli. She has been around for 13 years and has also wrestled for the former SHIMMER and Global Force Wrestling promotions.

We’re not sure who WWE hired in to play the parts of Officer Sawyer, but they also had their name-dropped on the show. Only time will tell how long it will be until another WWE Superstar is “arrested” on television, but it’s good to know that they’re not using actual police resources to pull off the effect.
